Description

Régis Dandoy is a Belgian political scientist and currently professor in political science at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ, Ecuador). He is also visiting research fellow and guest lecturer at the University of Brussels (ULB, Belgium), associate research fellow at the United Nations University (UNU-CRIS) and adjunct researcher at the Waseda University (Japan).

Previously, he was teaching and doing research in political science at the FLACSO (Ecuador), the University of Zurich (Switzerland), the Waseda University (Tokyo, Japan), the Ghent University (Belgium) and the University of Louvain (Belgium).

He obtained his PhD in Political Science from the University of Brussels (ULB - Belgium).

His main research interests deal with comparative politics, federalism, voting behaviour, election results, electronic and internet voting and election observation. He is also fascinated by Belgian and Ecuadorian politics.
