Régis Dandoy is a Belgian political scientist and currently guest lecturer at the University of Brussels (ULB, Belgium) and at the University of Lille (ICL, France). He is also visiting professor at the FLACSO (Ecuador) and adjunct researcher at the Waseda University (Japan).

Previously, he was teaching and doing research in political science at the FLACSO (Ecuador), the University of Zurich (Switzerland), the Waseda University (Tokyo, Japan), the Ghent University (Belgiuam) and the University of Louvain (Belgium).

He obtained his PhD in Political Science from the University of Brussels (ULB - Belgium).

His main research interests deal with comparative politics, federalism and decentralisation, regional politics and elections, party manifestos and ideologies as well as Belgian and Ecuadorian politics.
