Régis Dandoy is a Belgian political scientist and currently assistant professor at the Waseda University (Japan). He is also guest lecturer at the University of Louvain (UCL - Belgium) and visiting professor at the FLACSO-Ecuador.
Previously, he was teaching and doing research in political science at the FLACSO-Ecuador, the University of Zurich (Switzerland), the Waseda University (Tokyo, Japan), the University of Brussels (ULB - Belgium) and the University of Louvain (UCL - Belgium).
He obtained his PhD in Political Science from the University of Brussels (ULB - Belgium).
His main research interests deal with comparative politics, federalism and decentralisation, regional politics and elections, party manifestos and ideologies as well as Belgian and Ecuadorian politics.
